Château Dauzac: A Heralded Renaissance

Château Dauzac, owned by the insurance mutual MAIF, embodies a story of resilience and renewal. After entrusting the management of the estate to Vignobles André Lurton in 1992, MAIF initiated a process of rebirth that gained new momentum in 2013 with the arrival of Laurent Fortin. This 5th Classified Growth of Margaux, recognized since the 1855 classification, continues to produce wines of exceptional quality.

Visionary Management for a Historic Estate

In 1992, MAIF, the owner of Château Dauzac, called upon Vignobles André Lurton to manage this prestigious wine estate. This collaboration marked the beginning of a period of transformation and continuous improvement, aimed at restoring Dauzac to its rightful place among the great names of the Médoc. The decisive turning point came in 2013 with the arrival of Laurent Fortin at the helm of the estate. Fortin brought a modern and ambitious vision, focused on excellence and authenticity, with the goal of restoring the grandeur of Château Dauzac.

The Grand Vin of Château Dauzac: The Expression of Margaux’s Terroir

Château Dauzac, classified as a 5th Growth in 1855, stands out for the quality of its wines.
