Burgundy - Pommard - Red Wine -This Hautes Côtes de Nuits red 2021, is a sublime mono-varietal recognized worldwide as the authentic expression of Pinot Noir (100%), produced by the Domaine AF Gros. It comes from a parcel of 1.73 ha located in the commune of Concoeur on limestone soil.
Tasting notes:
The robe: is a magnificent cherry red colour with light ruby reflections
The nose: is greedy, and fruity with a beautiful aromatic palette of raspberry, wild strawberry, blackcurrant and a slightly woody side
The palate: The attack is lively and delicate with a body and a beautiful structure in the middle of the mouth. This wine lets feel red fruit aromas (strawberry, cherry) but also liquorice and spices. The finish is long and rich with a nice aromatic persistence.
12bouteilles advice: It will be ideal to accompany this Bourgogne Haute Côtes de Nuits with grilled red meat (beef, game) or a chicken with mushrooms. We recommend you serve this wine at a temperature between 15°C and 17°C for perfect tasting.
Domaine AF Gros was founded by Anne-Françoise Gros in 1988 and is located in Burgundy in Pommard. It covers 3000 hectares spread over 8 villages from Dijon to Corgoloin. François Parent, Anne-Françoise's husband, is the winemaker of all the wines of the vineyard. Recognized worldwide for his know-how, his wines are the image of a perfect expression of Pinot Noir. Today, two of their children, Caroline and Mathias work alongside their parents.
