Antinori : Castel del Monte "Pietrabianca" 2021 Organic
Toscana - White Wine -Pietrabianca 2021 is a very nice Italian organic white wine, produced by the Marchesi Antinori estate. It comes from organically managed vineyards located in the municipality Bittontino of Minervino Murge, in the Heart of Castel del Monte DOC. A blend of 95% Chardonnay and 5% Fiano, Pietrabianca refers to the stones encountered by farmers when ploughing the fields. When crushed and ground into the soil, they help to enhance the flavour of the wine grown there. Pietrabianca is a rich, complex and refreshing wine, indicating that Puglia is also a producer of high-quality white wines.
Tasting note:
The robe: straw yellow with greenish reflections
The nose: there are gourmet scents of stone fruits such as peach, apricot, white grapefruit, pear and white flowers
The palate: the attack is fresh, mineral and deliciously juicy with flavours of pear and citrus. The finish is long, with finesse.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Serve it chilled, between 10°C and 12°C, it will perfectly accompany a grilled fish.
The Antinori wineries, directed by Piero Antinori, in the Chianti region are among the most famous wines of Tuscany.
