Bibi Graetz - Colore 2020
Toscana - Super Toscan - Red Wine -In this 2020 vintage, Colore de Bibi Greatz is according to Wine Advocate: the Perfect expression of Sangiovese, all from carefully selected old vines in different regions of Tuscany. Bibi has a preference for old vines, and you can taste the beautiful depth and complexity that emanates from the Colore. Compared to its other Testamatta wine, this wine has seen fewer stylistic changes over the years, and the focus has always been on elegance and finesse. Colore has a fairly bright quality with aromas of dark fruits and wild berries. There are also hints of licorice and mint.
In this vintage, the two wines (Testamatta and Colore) are 100% Sangiovese, an indigenous grape variety often compared to Pinot Noir.
"It is a pure Sangiovese which has the class of the great wines of Burgundy. Reminiscent of La Tache de Romanée Conti" Wine Spectator.
