Bodega Los Frailes Bilogia 2019
Andalousie - Red Wine -Bodega Los Frailes Bilogiais, as its name suggests, an organic Spanish red wine from the Casa de los frailes estate.
The unique vineyard "La encina" is at an altitude of 650 meters. The sandy soil rich in limestone, which helps to precipitate the active limestone, which helps for the ripening of the grapes, while retaining good acidity.
The label is a photo taken by the Velázquez family at Casa Los Frailes in 1907. This is the 11th generation, currently the 13th generation working in the cellar.
Bilogía represents the freshness of the two Mediterranean grape varieties Monastrell and Syrah.
Tasting noteof the 2019 vintage
The dress: a super cherry red with purple reflections
The nose: a wonderful scent of red fruits (cherry and plum) as well as jam
The palate: We find a nice balance, structured, round and complex for a long finish.
The advice of 12 bottles: this wine will go perfectly with poultry or a good prime rib. Decant 1 hour before serving
