Ribera del Duero - Ribera del Douero - Red Wine -The Mauro, vintage 2019, is a Spanish blended wine from the high valley of the Ribera del Duero, located in the heart of Castilla y Leon.
It is composed of Syrah and Tempranillo grapes from vines between 40 and 80 years old, as well as a few younger bunches from carefully selected plots.
Tasting notes:
Dress: Deep garnet red color.
Nose: Intense and complex with aromas of fruit and floral notes.
On the palate: a wine endowed with depth and aromatic purity of extreme finesse and freshness. One finds a powerful but supple tannic structure.
The advice from 12bouteilles: Let the wine open, decant before serving. It will go perfectly with roasted red meat, duck breast or even a nice leg of lamb!
