Champagne - Champagne - Brut -Special cuvée is a champagne emblematic of the savoir-faire of the Bollinger house.
This champagne takes its name "Special Cuvée" from the British agent Georges Bollinger in 1911. He found the expression "Brut sans année" inappropriate for a champagne of such subtlety.
Coming from a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier, more than 85% of Grand and Premiers Crus vines are used to make this champagne. The maturation time in cellar is more than 2 times higher than the rules of the appellation
In a golden color, a distinctive sign of black grape varieties, this Champagne has a very fine bubble. The nose expresses a very beautiful aromatic complexity with aromas of ripe fruit and spices with notes of roasted apple, compote and peach.
