La Soufrandière : Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat "Les Longeays" 2021
Burgundy - Pouilly-Vinzelles - White Wine -This Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat "Les Longeays" 2021 is a parcel-based cuvée produced by the Domaine de la Soufrandières on one of the most beautiful terroirs of Vinzelles. The parcel has 0.58ha of vines planted in Chardonnay with an average age of 40 years. The vines are exposed East/South-East and rest on clay-limestone soil, rich in iron oxide.
Tasting notes:
The robe: light yellow with bright reflections
The nose: deep notes of acidulous fruits, and citrus fruits, mixed with softer notes of almond and white flowers
The palate: A greedy attack, a fresh and mineral mouth and a long and structured finish
12bouteilles' advice: Even if it can be appreciated in its youth, this great Burgundy wine deserves to be kept for 2 to 5 years in the cellar, allowing it to reveal all its aromatic potential. Sublime with soft cheese, white meat or marinated fish, we advise you to serve it chilled around 12°-13°C.
The Domaine La Soufrandière is a reference in the field of winemaking in the Mâconnais region of Burgundy. Founded in 1999 by the Bret brothers, this family estate extends over twenty hectares of vines cultivated in biodynamic agriculture. Their wines, made from Chardonnay, perfectly reflect the expression of the terroir and are recognized for their high quality. The Bret brothers attach great importance to respecting the environment and biodiversity, and this is reflected in their approach to production.
