Bret Brothers : Beaujolais-Lantignié "Glou des Bret" Cuvée Zen 2022
Beaujolais - Beaujolais-Lantignié - Village - Red Wine -This Beaujolais-Lantignié "Glou des Bret" Cuvée Zen 2021 is a buddy wine produced by the Bret Brothers. This cuvée is produced in very limited quantities (3197 bottles in 2019). An easy wine like its creators who on the 9ha they own in Beaujolais produce 'Happy Wines'.
In 2006, the estate decided to vinify the Gamay planted on magnificent granitic terroirs of Beaujolais to elaborate today this magnificent Beaujolais-Lantignié 'Glou des Bret'. This 2019 vintage is entirely organically grown and contains less than 20mg of sulfite (well below Demeter standards).
Tasting notes :
The robe: light red, very Beaujolais
The nose: reveals subtle aromas of fresh red fruits, crunchy, of a great purity
The palate: as in the nose, we find fruity notes and freshness. An elegant texture, easy to drink with playful acid notes and silky tannins
The advice of 12bouteilles: Serve this wine a bit chilled, it will perfectly accompany your cold cuts and cheese dishes. Also perfect with red meat.
Bret Brother is a negoce located in Burgundy, founded in 2001 by two brothers: Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret. Also, owners of Domaine de la Soufrandière, they produce great terroir wines from the Mâconnais region but also Beaujolais wines since 2013 which complete the range. Selection of micro plots of old vines, manual harvest, since 2019, 100% of the grapes purchased are certified organic or in conversion. Today, they produce about 50 000 bottles for 14 different vintages on a total of about 8 ha.
