Champagne Dom Ruinart 2009 with its box
Champagne - Champagne - Blanc de Blancs -Maison Ruinart is the oldest Champagne house, she produces with Dom Ruinart an exceptional champagne.
A worthy successor to the 2007 vintage, this Dom Ruinart 2009 is made from 100% Chardonnay coming only from the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs (Cramant, Chouilly, Le Mesnil, Oger and Avize) and from the Montagne de Reims.
The wine waited 9 years in the cellars of the House before being offered today to lovers of very high quality fine champagne. Its aging potential can reach 20 years.
Tasting notes :
Colour: Bright, intense golden colour with green shimmering reflections.
Nose: reveals a very fresh fruity palette, mixed with floral notes, very sweet citrus fruits (citron), stone fruits (brugnon, yellow plum) and just ripe white fruits. Its evolution confirms its fresh floral register with some green spicy notes.
On the palate: is unctuous, quickly giving way to a vibrant, stony tension with a deep intensity marked by notes of green citrus and grapefruit. The sapid and chalky finish is supported by an elegant bitterness.
The 12-bottle suggestion: Perfect to accompany your seafood and fish dishes. Serve chilled between 10°C and 12°C.
