Château Beauregard 2017
Bordeaux - Pomerol - Red Wine -This 2017 vintage has a beautiful structure typical of Bordeaux which will delight many palates. In Pomerol, one finds fruity wines and this wine is a demonstration of this.
Château Beauregard owns 17.5 hectares of vines and is located in Pomerol in the Gironde. This estate was acquired in 1991 by Foncier Vignobles and since then the vineyard and the cellars have been completely renovated. The château was recently purchased by the Moulin and Cathiard families.
Wine Advocate (Robert Parker) Tasting Notes: 92/100
Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Beauregard is slightly muted to begin, offering up subtle scents of warm blueberries, stewed plums and cherry preserves plus touches of dried roses, black tea and cigar box. Medium-bodied, the palate has a lovely soft texture and plenty of expressive red and black fruits, finishing long and perfumed.
The advice of 12bottles: Open this beautiful bottle 2 hours before tasting. Try it with a cheese such as Tome des Pyrénées, or a nice poultry, you will not be disappointed.
