Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - 4e Cru Classé - Red Wine -In this 2021 vintage, Château Branaire Ducru won us over with its richness, freshness, elegance and roundness.
The wine has an intense, almost purplish red colour and a highly aromatic nose with notes of black fruit, blackcurrant and blackberry.
The attack on the palate is straightforward, with good density and silky tannins that are not at all aggressive.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is made up of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 7% Cabernet Franc.
12bouteilles advice: A bottle that can wait for many years in your cellar. If you feel like tasting it, open the bottle at least 2 hours before serving. It will go wonderfully with meat, game and poultry.
