Château Cantemerle 2016
Bordeaux - Haut Médoc - 5e Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château Cantemerle, the 5th Cru Classé of the Haut-Médoc appellation, produces intense and balanced complex wines, just like its terroir, located in the Bordelaise region.
Coming from a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot, Château Cantemerle's 2016 Premier is made from 30-year-old vines.
Château Cantemerle 2016 is adorned with a beautiful dark ruby color.
Its nose is an aromatic bouquet with aromas of ripe black fruit and raspberry with slightly woody notes and vanilla.
On the palate, the attack is very pleasant, round and elegant with silky and fine tannins. The palate delivers delicate aromas of cassis and raspberry fruit, introducing a long finish of great freshness. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannin, fine and silky.
A beautiful Cru Classé which is positioned as one of the best quality-price ratio of Médoc
The advice of 12bouteilles: Château Cantemerle 2016 is like its elders, a reliable and pleasant wine, to be served around 17 ° C. It will accompany wonderfully a veal blanquette.
