The wines are vinified by the team at Château Calon-Ségur, who in just a few years have turned Château Capbern-Gasqueton, named after its former owner, into one of the finest wines in the Saint Estèphe appellation.
The blend of the 2020 vintage is made up of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
The wines of the 2020 vintage were vinified for 18 months in barrels, 60% of which were new and 40% one-wine barrels.
