Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Cru Classé - Red Wine -The Château Carbonnieux red 2015 Cru Classé Pessac Léognan is a safe bet, you can not make a mistake choosing it. Château Carbonnieux is today one of Pessac Léognan's Crus Classés, best known for its red and white wines.
This 2015 vintage is composed of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot. The aging was done for 18 months in French oak barrels of which 30% new oak.
This 2015 vintage has an intense color, a nose that has strong aromas of black fruits, black currants and blackberries. The palate is full with tannins still present. Well conforming to the Pessac Léognan appellation which produces harmonious and balanced wines, the texture of the wine is silky, the finish is beautiful and long.
The 2015 vintage is delicious to drink now, however the wine will offer its total potential by growing a few years in the cellar. The quality of this wine allowed him to obtain a score of 91-93 by the critic Robert Parker
