Château Cos Labory 2020
Bordeaux - Saint-Estèphe - 5e Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château Cos Labory 2020 is a charming, fruity and well-balanced wine, full of finesse, with a fine balance between the fruit and the already melted tannins.
This is a wine to keep in your cellar for many years but which will charm those who like wines from Saint Estèphe young.
To the eye, the colour is purple with violet highlights
On the nose, ripe black fruits emerge, blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, followed by woody and liquorice notes
On the palate, the attack is straightforward, well-fruited, combined with good length with lots of freshness.
The blend for the 2020 vintage is made up of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot.
Maturing for the 2020 vintage was 16 months in oak barrels, 50% of which were new barrels.
The 12bottle tip : If you like young, fruity and crisp wines, don't hesitate to enjoy this bottle straight away. Decant the bottle at least 6 hours before serving and serve chilled at around 18°C. It will go wonderfully with red meats and cheeses.
In the appellation Saint-Estèphe, you can also discover Chateau Lafon Rochet, Château Montrose, Château Calon-Ségur, Château Haut-Marbuzet or Château Cos d'Estournel.
