In this 2021 vintage, Château Cos Labory is a charming, fruity, well-balanced wine, full of finesse and excellent value for money. It's a wine to keep in your cellar for many years, but one that will charm those who enjoy young Saint Estèphe wines.
A crimson colour with purple highlights
A nose of ripe black fruit, blackberry, blackcurrant and cherry, followed by hints of wood and liquorice
A clean, fruity attack on the palate, with good length and plenty of freshness.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot.
The 2021 vintage was matured for 16 months in oak barrels, 50% of which were new.
12Bottle recommendation: If you like young, fruity, crisp wines, enjoy this bottle straight away. Decant the bottle at least 6 hours before serving and serve chilled at around 18°C. It is the perfect accompaniment to red meats and cheeses.
