Château Coutet 2011
Bordeaux - Barsac - 1er Cru Classé - Sweet wine -The Château Coutet vintage 2011, is a 1st classified Cru of the Barsac appellation in the Bordeaux region, it is a great Bordeaux white wine. Certainly one of the best white wines we have offered at 12Bottles.
It is an excellent wine, praised by critics, it received a 93 from Famous Robert Parker, a 97 from Wine Spectator magazine and a 17.5 / 20 from RVF!
It is a wine from vineyards aged 38 years on average, composed of 75% Sémillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Muscadelle. It is aged 18 months in French oak barrels to reach full maturity and bottled in June 2013.
Château Coutet 2011 has a beautiful gold color and coppery highlights, its nose with notes of stewed fruits, honey, vanilla or citrus zest. The round bite, generous it combines the power of the fruit to the mastery of an elegant woody.
It is a complex wine rich in aromas and you will surely appreciate it!
The advice of 12bouteilles: Wine for a few years, serve the fresh 8 or 10 ° with mushrooms, or your best pastries.
