Château de Béru : Terroir de Béru 2020
Burgundy - Chablis - White Wine -The ambition of this cuvée, Terroir de Béru 2020, is to restore as sincerely as possible the character of the wines produced on the hill of Béru. It is a blend of different parcels of the estate, whose common points are first of all the altitude, the northern location in the Chablis vineyard and the strong presence of Kimmeridgian limestone in the soils.
Tasting notes:
The robe: medium golden yellow colour with delicate green reflections
The nose: fruity aromas associated with toasted notes of almonds
The palate: elegant and refreshing with delicate fruitiness and stimulating acidity, and a finish with mineral tension
Located in Burgundy, in the heart of the Chablis vineyard, this family estate has fifteen hectares of vines planted around a hill at the top which culminates the Château de Béru. Family property since the 17th century, the castle was taken over in 2006 by Athénaïs de Béru.
The latter adopted an organic and biodynamic culture in 2010. Determined and dynamic, she returned to working the soil, with manual harvesting, green work and the use of plants to find varied fauna and flora and to strengthen the protection of the vine against diseases.
The vinification is done without inputs or racking, the maturation is long and conducted with respect to cycles and seasons. For some years now, certain vintages have been bottled without sulfur.
The advice of 12bouteilles: Serve chilled at 10 ° C / 12 ° C, we advise you to accompany this wine with white meat.
