This red Premier Cru comes from the Clos du Château de la Maltroye, which is in monopoly, located in front of the Château, a 2.8 hectare vineyard, 60% of which is planted in red. Clay soil and outcropping rock give the wine richness and minerality.
Tasting notes:
Dress: a sublime garnet-red color with a purplish hue.
Nose: reveals aromas of morello cherries and black cherries.
The palate: greedy, concentrated, tasty with well integrated tannins. The finish is long and leaves a nice woody note.
The advice of 12 bottles: Serve around 15°C, we advise you to serve this wine with grilled or roasted red meat.
