In this 2024 vintage, the G de Galoupet from Château Galoupet stands out as one of the finest expressions of the AOP Côtes de Provence, a terroir bathed in marine influence. Here is the tasting we conducted:
The Appearance: pale pink, crystalline, with delicate salmon reflections.
The Nose: refined and fruity, evoking notes of red fruits (strawberries, redcurrants), citrus (grapefruit) and white flowers.
The Palate: fresh and lively, marked by a beautiful salinity and a subtle length. The balance between minerality and roundness echoes the Mediterranean sea spray.
This 2024 vintage of G de Galoupet is produced from a blend of Grenache (60%), Cinsault (15%), Rolle (20%) and Tibouren (5%). The grapes, harvested during the coolest hours to preserve their aromatic potential, are vinified at low temperature in stainless steel tanks, without any barrel aging. This approach respects the maritime identity of this rosé, highlighting its purity and freshness.
With elegance, the 2024 G de Galoupet cuvée embodies the harmony between the generosity of the Provençal sun and the finesse conferred by the marine influence. The aromas are clear and precise, while the palate offers a beautiful balance between acidity and roundness. A cuvée that attests to Château Galoupet’s commitment to environmentally respectful viticulture, fully expressing the typical character of its Provençal terroir.
12bouteilles' Recommendation: Serve this rosé ideally between 8 and 10 °C. It will perfectly accompany your summer salads, grilled vegetables, exotic appetizers, burrata, and plancha-cooked fish. Thanks to its freshness and finesse, it is also very well suited as an aperitif!
