Bordeaux - Margaux - 5e Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château du Tertre in this 2020 vintage is a wine that presents itself with great finesse, a beautiful balance between fruit and very elegant tannins.
This is a wine to keep in your cellar for a few years but will charm those who love the very great wines of Margaux in their youth!
To the eye, the colour is dark, intense purple.
On the nose, red fruits emerge, such as raspberry, followed by woody and vanilla notes
On the palate, the whole is seductive and greedy. The attack is well-fruited, with good length and plenty of freshness. The finish is elegant, with silky tannins that have already melted away.
The blend for the 2020 vintage is made up of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc and 8% Petit Verdot
Maturing for the 2020 vintage was 12 months in oak barrels, of which 40% were new barrels.
The 12bottle tip : A wine that will wait a few years in your cellar but that you can already enjoy with great pleasure. Decant the bottle at least 3 hours before, serve the wine chilled at around 18°c. It will go wonderfully with red meats and cheeses.
