A dark, intense purple colour.
On the nose, red fruits such as raspberry come to the fore, followed by hints of wood and vanilla.
On the palate, the wine is seductive and delicious. The attack is well-fruited, with good length and plenty of freshness. The finish is elegant, with silky tannins that have already melted away.
The blend of the 2021 vintage is made up of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc and 8% Petit Verdot.
The 2021 vintage was matured for 12 months in oak barrels, 40% of which were new.
12Bouteilles suggestion: A wine that will wait a few years in your cellar, but that you can already enjoy with great pleasure. Decant the bottle at least 3 hours before serving, and serve chilled at around 18°C. It is the perfect accompaniment to red meats and cheeses.
