Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - 2e Cru Classé
Cru Classé - Red Wine -

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou 2018 is a magnificent Saint-Julien wine, a sure bet for the appellation.

Tasting notes from the 2018 vintage:
The colour is a beautiful deep ruby
The nose gives off delicious aromas of black and red fruit
On the palate, the wine is elegant, supple and fresh, with fine tannins. The wine has real finesse and balance.

The blend for the 2018 vintage is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot.

Château Ducru Beaucaillou is one of the emblematic wines of the Saint Julien appellation. The Château Ducru Beaucaillou estate covers around 245 hectares, including 75 hectares of vines.Owned by the Borie family for over 60 years, the vineyard produces blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The advise of 12bouteilles : Open and decant the wine at least 2 hours before tasting to let the aromas unfold. Serve chilled around 17°C on a nice red meat.
