Le Petit Ducru de Ducru-Beaucaillou 2019

Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - Red Wine -

In this 2019 vintage, the Petit Ducru de Ducru Beaucaillou presents itself with great finesse, a nice balance between black fruits, good acidity and elegant tannins.
To the eye, the color is intense red with purple reflections.
On the nose, black fruits emerge such as blackberry, cherry, then woody notes.
In the mouth, the attack is greedy, very fruity, associated with a good length with a lot of freshness. the finish is elegant with silky tannins.

The Petit Ducru de Ducru-Beaucaillou is a more accessible wine than its elders, Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou the Grand Vin, Saint Julien 2nd Cru Classé and La Croix de Beaucaillou the second wine.

Blend : 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 60% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot.

Ageing : 1/3 in new barrels for 12 months.

The advice of 12bouteilles : A bottle full of charm which of course could wait but which you will have great pleasure in drinking now. Decant the bottle at least 2 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°C. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
