La Croix de Ducru-Beaucaillou is the second wine of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. It is one of the largest estates in the appellation Saint-Julien with 245 hectares.
The Chateau owes its fame to its illustrious owners, Bertrand Ducru and then Jean Eugène Borie, who acquired the property in 1941.
Château Ducru-Beaucaillou has 75 hectares of vines on its estate, which give pride of place to Cabernet Sauvignon accompanied by Merlot.
Still committed to making great wines, Bruno Borie has been producing this excellent second wine for several years, the result of a drastic selection of the first wine.
