La Nature de Durfort-Vivens 2020 cuvée without sulfites
Bordeaux - Margaux - Red Wine -La Nature de Durfort Vivens 2020 is a Margaux appellation cuvée with no added sulphites, a deep, intense very elegant powerful wine.
This is a small production on 1 hectare on Margaux terroirs.A deep red colour with violet highlights
The nose gives off intense black fruit aromas and very elegant woody notes
The fruit dominates, bursting on the palate with good length and great freshness. The finish is never-ending!
Maturing for 6 months in TAVA terracotta amphorae, short ageing unlike previous vintages in order to preserve the wine's aromas.
The blend of the vintage is 100% Cabernet Franc.
Since the 2016 vintage the wine is certified Organic and Biodynamic.
Gonzague Lurton has this to say about his wine:
In a perpetual quest for natural balance, and thanks to extremely precise work in the cellar, I wanted to go one step further by making a cuvée without adding any sulphites. This way, no input disturbs the natural alchemy between the Durfort-Vivens terroir and its aromatic expression. 2020 is the 4th vintage of this cuvée, which brings out the full expression of the Durfort-Vivens terroir, still without any oenological inputs and using a single grape variety, cabernet sauvignon. As in the 3 previous vintages, the grapes come from a single plot in our vineyard - 1 hectare - chosen for its unique expression.
