Château Figeac 2019
Bordeaux - Saint-Émilion - 1er Cru Classé - Red Wine -The 2019 vintage of Château Figeac is undoubtedly one of the greatest vintages produced at the Château, a balanced wine with a lot of freshness. The grapes produced were ripe, rich and very aromatic.
To the eye, the dress is an intense red color almost black with purple reflections.
On the nose, black fruits emerge, blackberries, blueberries, then woody and spicy notes
On the palate, the attack is fresh, fruity and harmonious ending with silky tannins.
Château Figeac has just been awarded 1er Grand Cru Classé A in the new Classification of Saint Emilion 2022.
Blend : 35% Cabernet Franc, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot.
The advice of 12bouteilles : This bottle is to be forgotten for a few years in your cellar, time will improve it! If you want to taste it, decant the bottle at least 6 hours before serving it. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
In Saint Emilion appellation, you could also like Châteaux Angelus, Cheval Blanc, Pavie, Figeac, Canon, Canon la Gaffelière, Troplong Mondot, Beau-séjour Bécot, Clos Fourtet, la Gaffelière ….
