Château Figeac 2016
Bordeaux - Saint-Émilion - 1er Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château Figeac is one of the largest vineyards in Saint Emilion. Unique and recognizable, it represents the quintessential elegance and refinement of the Great Bordeaux wines. 1er Grand Cru Classé B, the estate has belonged to the same family since 1892. It is known to be the most Medoc-like of the Saint Emilions due to the high proportion of Cabernet in its blend. The 2016 vintage is worthy of its predecessors and lives up to its reputation.
Tasting notes :
Colour : Intense and deep purple colour
Nose: reveals fresh aromas of forest fruits, ripe fruits, and evolves on notes of graphite.
The palate : Balanced in the mouth, with elegant tannins, black fruit aromas and a salty finish.
The advice of 12 bottles : Serve at around 16°-18°C. This Château Figeac will be perfect with a duck leg with orange or quail with grapes.
