Château Gazin is a family wine estate that was founded in the 8th century. This vineyard in the Pomerol appellation is currently run by Nicolas and Christophe de Bailliencourt. It is a classic of the Château in the Bordeaux region. Neighbouring the famous Pétrus estate, the vineyard of Château Gazin extends over 26 hectares of vines, cultivated in traditional ways. Produced from a blend of grape varieties 93% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc.

Colour : Intense crimson red
Nose: aromas of red and black fruits with a toasted and caramelised flavour.
On the palate: We find powerful and firm tannins, it is a rich wine with freshness.
The wines of Château Gazin generally deserve to wait fifteen, twenty years or more before tasting them. Château Gazin 2018 is a magnificent wine from Pomerol.
The advice for 12 bottles: This wine for laying down can be enjoyed now, if it is decanted at least 2 hours before tasting. Serve it chilled around a nice piece of grilled beef.
