A wine full of finesse with perfect precision and a nice balance between the fruit, the acidity specific to great vintages and very silky tannins.
This 2019 vintage Margaux wine will wait patiently in your cellar. but it is already an immense pleasure to taste.
To the eye, the color is intense red with purple reflections.
On the nose, red fruits emerge, raspberry, blackcurrant...
In the mouth, the attack is greedy, dense and concentrated fruits, associated with a good length with a lot of freshness. the finish is elegant with very elegant tannins..
This 2019 vintage marks the 25th anniversary of the Albada Jelgersma family in Château Giscours.
Robert Parker rates the vintage 95/100: "Alexandre Van Beek and his team are taking this estate to heights it hasn't reached since the 1970s, and it's one of the bargains of 2019"
Blend: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot.
Ageing: 50% in new barrels for 17 months.
The advice of 12bouteilles: A magnificent bottle to keep in the cellar. If you want to taste it, decant the bottle at least 6 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°c. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
