In this 2021 vintage,Château Lacoste Borie is a well-balanced, powerful wine with plenty of freshness and silky tannins
To the eye, the colour is an intense red, almost black, with violet tints
On the nose, black fruits emerge, cherry, blackberry, blueberry, followed by woody and spicy notes
On the palate, the attack is fresh, fruity and harmonious, finishing with silky tannins.
More accessible than the first wine, Château Grand Puy Lacoste, it will be ready to drink sooner. It is nonetheless a Pauillac made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc.
12bouteilles's advice : You can enjoy this bottle now or leave it in your cellar for a few years, as it will improve with age! If you feel like tasting it, decant the bottle at least 2 hours before serving. It will go wonderfully with red meats and cheeses.
In the Pauillac appellation you may also like ChâteauxLatour, Lafite-Rothschild, Mouton-Rothschild, Pontet Canet, Lynch-Bages, Pedesclaux, Pichon Baron, Pichon Lalande, Grand Puy Lacoste ...
