Château Grand Village Rouge 2016
Bordeaux - Bordeaux Supérieur - Red Wine -This Château Grand Village rouge 2016 is a lovely wine in the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation produced by Château Grand Village. Made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it's a wine full of charm.
Tasting notes :
The robe: deep ruby red
The nose: reveals a lovely bouquet with notes of black fruit
The palate: A full-bodied, velvety wine, with good mid-palate density, a touch of freshness and a long, spicy finish
12Bouteilles' suggestion: Serve at around 15°C. This wine has good ageing potential and should be enjoyed with lamb.
Located on the Right Bank near Fronsac, it has belonged to the same family since the 17th century. At Grand Village, the Guinaudeau family has made every effort to help wine lovers discover the richness of the vineyard. Established on a terroir typical of the Saint-Émilion region, with limestone and rocky soils. It benefits from the best exposure on plateaus or small hillsides. The red wines are blended from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, harmonious and round on the palate, the wines can be enjoyed young on their fruit.
