Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - 2e Cru Classé - Red Wine -In this 2020 vintage Château Gruaud Larose wine is balanced with powerful tannins, a nice freshness and crunchy fruits.
The wine has a very pretty floral bouquet, fresh fruit with slightly spicy notes on the finish.
The palate is juicy, with a frank attack, very fruity, associated with a beautiful freshness of tension, structuring tannins, sometimes a little too much, but a homogeneous and delicate whole. Good aging potential.
The blend is composed with 79% de Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% de Merlot et 4% Cabernet Franc
Ageing : 80% in new barrels for 18 months
The advice of 12bouteilles : A bottle to forget in your cellar for at least the next 5 years. If you want to taste it, decant the bottle at least 6 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°c. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
