Château Haut Bages Libéral 2021 is a wine with a lot of freshness and elegance that you can enjoy right now.
The wine is full, long and fat with refined tannins that have already melted. The wine has a nice acidity that will also allow you to cellar it for a few years.
The vintage blend is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot.
Elevage was 16 months in French oak barrels for 80% of which 50% were new barrels and 50% one-wine barrels. The remaining 20% was vinified in amphorae, a container perfectly suited to preserving the fruit's potential.
The wine has been certified organic since 2019 and is currently being converted to biodynamics.
The 12boouteilles' advice : Drink now and keep in your cellar. Decant this magnificent bottle at least 2 hours before serving the wine chilled around 18°c. It goes perfectly with meats and firm cheeses;
In the appellation Pauillac, you may also like Châteaux Latour, Lafite-Rothschild, Mouton-Rothschild, Pontet Canet, Lynch-Bages, Pedesclaux, Pichon Baron, Pichon Lalande, Grand Puy Lacoste ...
