Tasting notes - Château Haut-Brion 2021 :
The colour of this Château Haut-Brion is a brilliant dark red.
On the nose, without agitation, the aromas are complex, with both fresh and spicy notes. Agitation confirms the ripeness of the fruit, but without excess.
On the palate: The wine never develops aggressively on the palate, but what a presence! Tactile sensations are complemented by taste and flavours. The tannins are full, refined and juicy. Very good persistence.
The blend of the 2021 vintage is composed of 50% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 38% Cabernet Sauvignon
The wines were aged in oak barrels for 20 months before bottling.
