La Clarté de Haut-Brion has a legendary and unique parentage: Produced from grapes grown on the Haut-Brion terroir, it was born of two prestigious estates: Château Haut-Brion and Château La Mission Haut-Brion.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is 56% Semillon and 44% Sémillon.
The 2021 vintage was matured in oak barrels, 50% of which were new.
Tasting notes : La Clarté Haut-Brion 2021
The wine has a lovely light yellow colour with green highlights.
The initial nose is intense and fruity, with lovely notes of peach and quince. The nose is ripe and very slightly and delicately woody and toasty.
E, mouth, the attack is soft and tasty. Thanks to the predominance of Semillon, the wine develops into a full-bodied, almost sweet wine with southern accents. The finish, with its lovely bitters, is very refreshing.
