Château L'Evangile 2020
Bordeaux - Pomerol - Red Wine -Chateau l'évangile 2020 is a magnificent wine, a very great Pomerol, a concentrated wine with lots of freshness and elegance.
The colour is garnet, purple and deep, with very ripe fruit, the palate is full, long and greedy. We particularly appreciated the finesse of the tannins and the freshness of the Merlot, enhanced by the Cabernet Franc.
The'2020 vintage blend is 88% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc.
Maturing for the 2020 vintage was 18 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which were new.
The 12bottle suggestion: Certainly one to keep in your cellar but if you come to open this magnificent bottle, decant it at least 3 hours or even 6 hours before tasting, serve the wine chilled at around 18°c. It will go perfectly with meats and firm cheeses;
