Château la Gaffelière 2019
Bordeaux - Saint-Émilion - 1er Cru Classé - Red Wine -This 2019 vintage of la Gaffelière presents itself with great finesse, a nice balance between black fruits, good acidity and very elegant tannins.
To the eye, the dress is an intense red color with purple reflections.
On the nose, black fruits emerge such as blackberry, cherry, then woody and vanilla notes.
In the mouth, the attack is greedy, very fruity, associated with a good length with a lot of freshness. the finish is elegant with silky tannins.
Château la Gaffelière 2019 is a Saint Emilion wine that will be forgotten in your cellar for years. Since Alexandre de Mallet took over from his father Léo, the wines have progressed considerably. The tasting notes of the vintages are also excellent, all above 95/100.
Blend: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc.
60% aging in new barrels for 15 months.
The advice of 12bouteilles: A wine that will wait a few years in your cellar but that you can already taste with great pleasure. Decant the bottle at least 6 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°C. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
