Château la Mission Haut-Brion 2019
Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Cru Classé - Red Wine -Château la Mission Haut Brion 2019 is one of the very great wines of the vintage, rated between 98 and 100/100 by all the critics.
in this 2019 vintage seduced us with its balance between crunchy fruits, well-melted tannins and a nice acidity guaranteeing longevity for this bottle.
To the eye, the dress is an intense red color almost black with purple reflections.
On the nose, black fruits emerge, blueberries, cherries, then woody and vanilla notes.
On the palate, the attack is full-bodied, very fruity, associated with a nice freshness then a nice harmonious length and tannins
Blend : 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 53% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc.
Ageing: 100% in new barrels for 15 months
Château la Mission Haut Brion is part of the Clarence Dillon estates with Chateau Haut Brion, also in Pessac Léognan and Chateau Quintus in Saint Emilion.
The Advice of 12bouteilles: This bottle could wait for years in your cellar but you can appreciate it now as the finesse and the silky and ripe tannins are accessible. Decant it at least 6 hours before serving it. It will go wonderfully with your red meats and cheeses.
