La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion 2010
Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - 2nd Wine - Red Wine -This 2010 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. A wine full of contrasts: 2010 produced one of the densest but at the same time most seductive Chapelle.
The robe : is a beautiful dark and dense color.
The nose : is very expressive, dominated by notes of red fruits
The palate : presents an imposing tannic structure, surprising for a second wine. Despite this impressive concentration, the freshness of this wine dazzles.
In 1983, the Dillon family acquired Château La Mission Haut-Brion, a 29-hectare vineyard located in Talence. The property was renewed in 2007 with the creation of new cellars, a tasting room, a bottling and storage center.
La Chapelle de la Mission Haut Brion is the second wine of the château. Located south of Bordeaux, and benefiting from the temperate oceanic climate, the soils are mainly composed of gravel, sand and clay. All this creates a typical expression.
12bottles' advice : Open the bottle 2 hours before tasting and drink it around 17°C and accompany it with a red meat
