Château Lafon Rochet 2015 is a magnificent bottle !

This 2015 vintage is composed of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The wines were aged in oak barrels with 50% new barrels for a period of 14 months.

This Saint Estèphe is typical of its name, a racy, powerful and balanced wine.

The nose is dominated by black fruits (blackcurrants and blueberries) and then we discover aromas of wood and spices.

Long in the mouth, very balanced between the fruit and the wood, the tannins are still present but have a lot of elegance.
