The wine is well-balanced, with silky tannins of great finesse, so characteristic of Saint Julien wines.
In this 2021 vintage, the Cabernet Sauvignon dominates, revealing great power and black fruit.
To the eye, an intense red colour with violet highlights
On the nose, black fruit, blackcurrant, cherry, followed by woody and vanilla notes
On the palate, the attack is straightforward and fruity, combined with good length, freshness and the acidity needed to make this a wine to keep for a long time.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot.
The 2021 vintage is aged for 20 months in new barrels, 50% of which are new.
