Fiefs de Lagrange 2021 is the perfect balance between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, giving a fine balance between crisp black fruit and aromatic power with soft tannins and a lovely freshness.
To the eye, the wine is an intense red colour with violet tints
On the nose, black fruits emerge, blackcurrants and cherries, followed by woody and vanilla notes
On the palate, the attack is straightforward and fruity, with a lovely freshness.
Les Fiefs de Lagrange, the second wine from Château Lagrange in Saint Julien, is still excellent value for money. Vinified with the same care as its predecessor, it is ready to drink straight from the bottle.
The blend of the 2021 vintage is made up of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 52% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot.
The 2021 vintage was matured for 12 months in oak barrels, 20% of which were new.
12Bottle tip: If you like young, fruity, crisp wines, enjoy this bottle straight away. Decant the bottle at least 2 hours before serving and serve chilled at around 18°C. It goes wonderfully with red meats and cheeses.
In the appellation Saint-Julien, you may also likeChateau , Chateau , ,Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Chateau Beychevelle, ChateauChateau Saint Pierre, Chateau Talbot. ..
