Château Latour Martillac white 2020
Bordeaux - Pessac-Leognan - Cru Classé - White Wine -In this 2020 vintage, the white of Château Latour Martillac is a very aromatic wine with great freshness, lots of fruit and great balance.
Château Latour Martillac blanc is still excellent value for money, for us one of the best whites from Pessac Léognan.
This 2020 vintage is one you can enjoy now but will also be able to wait. The nose is impressive for its fruit, with bright Sauvignon aromas of lemons and white peaches.
On the palate, the attack is fruity, full of citrus fruit and rich. The tannins, well supported by the acidity, add a touch of elegance on the finish.
Château Latour Martillac property of the Kressman family is one of 6 Chateaux de Pessac Léognan classified for red wines and its white wines, proof of its exceptional terroir
The blend for the 2020 vintage is made up of 68% Sauvignon Blanc, 32% Sémillon.
The 2020 vintage was matured for 14 months on its lees in oak barrels, 25% of which were new.
The 12bottle tip: Open the bottle 30 minutes before drinking, serve the wine chilled at around 10-12°c. It will go perfectly with oily fish and your seafood platters.
