To the eye, it is a brilliant yellow colour with green highlights
On the nose, it is the fruit that impresses, the Sauvignon grapes are bright and give off aromas of lemons and white peaches.
On the palate, the attack is fruity, full of citrus fruit and rich. The tannins, well supported by the acidity, add a touch of elegance on the finish.
Château Latour Martillac, owned by the Kressman family, is one of the 6 Chateaux in Pessac Léognan classified for its red and white wines, a testament to its exceptional terroir.
The blend for the 2021 vintage is 57% Sauvignon Blanc, 43% Sémillon.
The 2021 vintage was aged for 14 months on the lees in oak barrels, 25% of which were new.
12bouteilles advice: Open the bottle 30 minutes before serving and serve chilled at around 10-12°C. It goes perfectly with oily fish and seafood platters.
