Château Latour 2015
Bordeaux - Pauillac - 1er Cru ClasséCru Classé - Red Wine -
This 2015 Chateau Latour is a 1er Grand Cru Classé of Pauillac. A great red wine made with the finest grapes from Enclos, an unprecedented historical terroir around Chateau Latour. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, it is a unique wine with great purity despite very hot, dry and humid periods.
Tasting note:
The robe: deep and dark red
The nose: notes of black fruits (blackberry, blueberry), floral notes (peony, violet) as well as some aromas of cooking, coffee, vanilla and cinnamon
The palate: beautiful fullness, elegant, fine tannins. The finish is fresh and sublime aromatic persistence
The advice of 12bouteilles: Serve between 16°C and 18°C and decant 2 hours before tasting, it will perfectly accompany excellent red meat.
A Vineyard of 95 hectares, Château Latour is located in the heart of the Médoc, about 50km from Bordeaux. First Classified Growth in 1855 in the Pauillac appellation according to the official classification, it is at the top of the great wines of Bordeaux. In its quest for constant perfection, the estate produces sublime wines that have lasted through the decades and will continue to flourish.
