Château Léoville Barton 2019
Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - 2e Cru Classé - Red Wine -In this 2019 vintage, Château Léoville Barton produced a very great vintage.
Already very pleasant to taste, it is rated 97 by Wine Advocate (Parker).
The color is deep red
The dazzling nose, a concentrate of very ripe black fruits then a very elegant oakiness takes over.
The mouth is ample, generous, fleshy and greedy. A fresh attack, the texture of the mid-palate is enveloping with black fruits (plum, blackcurrant) and reveals a precise tannic structure and a typical Saint Julien finesse.
Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon (85.5%), Merlot (14.5%).
Aged in barrels for 16 months, 60% of which in new barrels.
Owned by the Barton Family since more than 1826, the 47-hectare vineyard is located in the heart of the town of Saint Julien Beychevelle. Château Léoville Barton 2018 is a blended wine characteristic of the Saint-Julien appellation.
The advice of 12 bottles: Decant this bottle at least 2 hours before tasting. An ideal wine to taste with ceps or red meat such as lamb.
