Château Ormes de Pez 2020
Bordeaux - Saint-Estèphe - Cru Bourgeois - Red Wine -Château les Ormes de Pez 2020 is a wine full of finesse, with a fine balance between fruit and tannins that have already melted.
This is a wine to be kept in your cellar for many years, but one that will charm those who love wines of Saint Estèphe young.
To the eye, the colour is purple with violet highlights
On the nose, ripe black fruits emerge, blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, followed by toasty and liquorice notes
On the palate, the attack is straightforward, well-fruited, combined with good length and freshness.
the blend for the 2020 vintage consists of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 54% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot
Maturing for the 2020 vintage was 16 months in oak barrels, 45% of which were new barrels.
The 12bottle advice : If you like young, fruity and crisp wines, don't hesitate to enjoy this bottle straight away. Decant the bottle at least 3 hours before serving and serve chilled at around 18°C. It will go wonderfully with red meats and cheeses.
In the appellation Saint-Estèphe, you can also discover Chateau Lafon Rochet, Château Montrose, Château Calon-Ségur, Château Phélan-Ségur or Château Cos d'Estournel.
