To the eye, the color is purple with purple highlights
On the nose, very ripe black fruits emerge, blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, then toasted and liquorice notes
On the palate, the attack is frank, very fruity, associated with a beautiful length and freshness.
The blend of the 2021 vintage is made up of40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot
The 2021 vintage was aged for 16 months in oak barrels, 45% of which were new barrels.
12bouteilles' advice: If you like young wines, on the fruit and on the crunch, do not hesitate to taste this bottle without waiting. Decant the bottle at least 3 hours before, serve the wine chilled around 18°c. It will go wonderfully with your red meats, your cheeses.
In Saint-Estèphe appellation, you may also like Chateau Lafon Rochet, Château Montrose, Château Calon-Ségur, Château Phélan-Ségur ou encore Château Cos d'Estournel.
